Job summary

Vantage in Singapore seeks a Program Director to lead front-end data center development across APAC, from site identification through land acquisition and execution readiness.

You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders, drive due diligence, governance, investment approvals, and robust business cases to support growth. The role requires cross‑functional leadership across engineering, operations, finance, legal, and commercial teams and a willingness to travel across APAC.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex development, infrastructure, construction, or real estate projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across APAC markets, particularly Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.
• Strong understanding of site acquisition, due diligence, planning, permitting, and utility infrastructure (power and fibre).
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders and external partners.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Flexibility to travel regularly across APAC.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working across multiple time zones, cultures, and remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC Investment Council process and portfolio growth across the region.
• Manage front-end development activities: site identification through land acquisition.
• Coordinate due diligence, risk management, and stakeholder alignment for projects.
• Provide executive guidance on budgets, schedules, and investments.
• Drive governance, stage-gate processes, and investment approvals.
• Develop robust business cases and present investment recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Site Selection, Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, Commercial teams.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, landowners, regulators, and authorities.
