Job summary

ABN AMRO Clearing Bank is seeking a Regional Data Domain Expert APAC to drive the implementation of a global data framework across Asia Pacific and align regional needs with regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes data governance, quality, and culture within a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will collaborate with regional stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Compliance, and work with the Education & Awareness Lead to enhance data literacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in financial institutions with data governance or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in Asia Pacific with local market infrastructure, exchanges and regulations.
• Degree in Information Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
• Ability to navigate HQ expectations and APAC realities.
• Strong cross-functional analysis for process improvement in complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC rollout of the global data framework tailored to local regs.
• Engage regional stakeholders across Finance, Commerce, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
• Coordinate with Education & Awareness Lead to boost data literacy.
• Ensure APAC alignment with HQ data policies and standards.
• Report on data issues, adoption progress, and risks to executives.
