Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks Associate/Senior Associate, APAC Projects and Change to drive market, product, regulatory, and operational initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.

You will combine business analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement to support workflows, controls, and operational readiness across markets. This role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with VBA, SQL, and Python in a project-based environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in investment management operations, settlements, or middle office roles.
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle: execution, funding, confirmation, settlement.
• Knowledge of asset classes: fixed income, equities, FX, derivatives.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with APAC markets (China, India, Korea, Taiwan) is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to VBA, SQL, Python, and automation/AI tools would be beneficial.
• Comfortable in a project-based environment and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business requirements, trading and settlement workflows and operational impacts.
• Support development of target workflows and controls with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Gather market insights and validate solutions with brokers, custodians, and providers.
• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of APAC initiatives involving market, product, regulatory, and operational changes.
• Track timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
• Drive follow-ups, milestones, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate across regional and global stakeholders to align requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide clear, structured progress updates on ongoing initiatives.
• Engage brokers, custodians, and service providers to refine workflows and support best practices and readiness.
