Job summary

Chainalysis seeks a Head of Policy, APAC to lead policy and regulatory affairs across Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. You’ll engage regulators, shape engagement strategies, and advocate for digital assets and AML/CTF frameworks while collaborating with APAC leadership and product teams.

You’ll build credibility with senior officials, manage external partnerships, and influence regulatory debates to support Chainalysis’ growth and risk management in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, government relations, or financial crime in financial services or fintech.
• Direct APAC engagement with regulators and government stakeholders (Singapore, Australia, South Korea, Japan).
• Strong understanding of AML/CTF, financial crime, cybercrime, and regulatory impact on tech businesses.
• Proven credibility with senior government officials and regulators as trusted advisor.
• Track record delivering regulatory/government initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
• Experience representing organizations in regulatory consultations and public–private partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication with policy papers and executive briefings.
• Cross-functional collaboration with legal, product, engineering, and sales teams in global settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to regulatory stakeholders across APAC, including MAS, AUSTRAC, FSC/FSS, JFSA, and ministries.
• Develop and execute market-specific policy engagement strategies for digital assets and AML/CTF.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators and government officials through consultations and partnerships.
• Represent Chainalysis in regional policy discussions as spokesperson on regulatory issues.
• Draft responses to regulatory consultations and proposed rules across priority markets.
• Monitor policy developments and provide actionable analysis to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with APAC leadership, government solutions, and account teams on engagement opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align products and messaging with regulatory expectations.
