Job summary

Western Union is seeking a Director of Product Payments Funds Out for APAC to lead the regional strategy and execution of funds-out payments across major remittance corridors. You will guide a high-performing product team and collaborate with engineering, compliance, risk, and operations to scale payout capabilities.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to delivery, drive network expansion with banks and wallets, and ensure regulatory alignment across diverse APAC markets while

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of product management experience in financial services or fintech.
• 5+ years of leadership experience and regional product strategy
• Experience owning multi‑market product strategies in complex regulatory environments
• Deep knowledge of payments, remittances, payout networks, or money movement
• Excellent communication and executive presence

Responsibilities

• Own and execute APAC funds-out product strategy.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
• Build and manage regional Product Managers across locations.
• Expand and optimize payout networks including banks and wallets.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations for regulatory alignment.
• Use data and market insights to prioritise initiatives.
