Job summary

Eames Consulting Group partners with a leading global financial institution to recruit a Deputy Head of Network for the APAC region. This senior role drives network design, operations, reliability, and security, bridging engineering, operations, and security to keep services highly available and compliant.

You will own governance, lifecycle management, vendor relations, and service transition, while advancing observability with SLIs/SLOs and executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in network infrastructure or IT service management.
• 5+ years of regional or global technology leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking incl. LAN/WAN, Data Center, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, network security.
• Proven governance, vendor management and service lifecycle experience.
• Proven ITSM knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change) with modern monitoring and automation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and govern network standards, policies, and control frameworks for the APAC region.
• Oversee lifecycle of network assets, including services, licensing, maintenance, and vendors.
• Uphold security, risk, and regulatory audit compliance.
• Lead Site Reliability Engineering to improve resilience, uptime, and observability.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs, implement alerting, reporting, and service dashboards.
• Drive automation, RCA, and proactive problem management to reduce risk.
• Collaborate with Information Security on vulnerability and remediation programs.
• Ensure smooth deployments with operational readiness for new network projects.
• Act as APAC liaison for network reliability and governance to executives.
