Job summary

Abbott is seeking a seasoned Head of Market Access for APAC to lead regional access, HTA, and policy initiatives across Asia-Pacific. You will partner with regional and global teams to optimize patient access, funding, and reimbursement while guiding launch readiness and lifecycle planning.

The role requires deep APAC market experience, strategic influence, and strong leadership to shape reimbursement frameworks and payer engagement across diverse healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of market access, reimbursement, HTA, or related experience.
• Significant experience working across multiple APAC markets.
• Strong understanding of HTA processes, payer systems, and healthcare policy environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional APAC market access strategy development and execution.
• Partner with country teams to develop regional reimbursement and funding plans.
• Oversee HTA strategy development and value proposition alignment.
• Shape health policy strategy and engage with government affairs as needed.
• Collaborate with Global Value, Access & Outcomes to regionalize tools and guidance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing APAC market access team.
