Job summary

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive professional to support the APAC institutional and intermediary trading desk. You will engage with leading clients, execute trades across global equity markets using Bloomberg EMSX, GL, and proprietary systems, and coordinate with back office on settlements and corporate actions.

The role requires a degree in any discipline, with CMFAS certifications advantageous, and the ability to communicate in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in any relevant discipline is required.
• CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A certifications are advantageous.
• Prior experience serving buy-side and/or sell-side clients is preferred.
• Good knowledge of equity markets and trading systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, meticulous, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Head to grow APAC Institutional and Intermediary business.
• Pro-active engagement and build good rapport with key institutional clients.
• Provide all round trade execution services on global equity markets through Bloomberg EMSX, GL and various proprietary trading systems.
• Work closely with counterparties and back office on account related, post trade settlement and corporate action matters.
• Provide equity trading ideas and market colours.
• Actively implementing ideas and process changes to improve the whole trade life cycle.
