Job summary

International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) seeks an experienced accounting leader to coordinate IFRS-compliant statutory audited financial statements for APAC entities. You will lead preparation, finalize statements, and partner with Big 4 auditors across the region.

Key responsibilities include coordinating PBC schedules, reconciling multi-entity intercompany ledgers, and ensuring timely month-end close, with strong IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA, CA, or ACCA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or audit-financial services or Big 4 background highly advantageous.
• Deep, current IFRS knowledge.
• ERP (Oracle preferred), Workiva (a plus), and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, formulas).
• Excellent English communication, highly organized, self-sufficient, and comfortable working with distributed teams and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft statutory financial statements under IFRS.
• Act as primary liaison with Big 4 external auditors-manage PBC schedules, queries, and the full audit timeline.
• Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations, cash book verifications, and P&L analytics.
• Reconcile complex multi-entity intercompany ledgers and resolve transfer pricing discrepancies.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure timely month-end adjustments, accruals, and ledger closures.
