Job summary

leoch battery pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee APAC month-end closing and Singapore entity closures. You will review management accounts, ensure accuracy, and liaise with auditors in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a strong grasp of accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel and SAP. You will work across APAC teams, ensure reconciliations, and handle ad-hoc tasks with a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Financing or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP / Pivot Table preferred).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP).
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with internal and external parties.
• Team player with positive working attitude.
• Ad-hoc task required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee APAC entities month end closing processes.
• Perform closing for Singapore entities.
• Review monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with applicable accounting standards.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and major accounting adjustments.
• Analyse revenue, gross profit, operating expenses and other key financial variances.
• Liaise with Auditor, Tax agent etc.
• Ensure intercompany accounts are reconciled regularly.
• Providing support to APAC counterpart when required.
• Ad-hoc task required.
