Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a procurement professional to own end-to-end hardware sourcing for APAC data center deployments. You will negotiate with OEMs and major vendors, manage shortages, and coordinate with engineering, logistics and finance to keep deployments on track.

The role requires 5+ years in server/GPU procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Based in Singapore with opportunities to influence global data center growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in server/GPU or data center hardware procurement.
• Direct experience negotiating with major hardware vendors.
• Strong pricing, availability, and lead-time negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement of servers, GPUs and related hardware for APAC data center builds.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, availability and supply commitments with OEMs/ODMs/vendors.
• Manage hardware shortages, escalations and cost optimization across multiple projects.
• Partner with engineering, logistics, finance and operations to align deliveries with deployment schedules.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track procurement progress, supplier performance, risks, and deadlines.
• Support data centers with stock planning and urgent procurement to avoid disruptions.
