ByteDance is seeking a Regional Crisis Management professional to support the Regional Crisis Manager in Asia Pacific, enhancing crisis preparedness, developing plans, and assisting in response efforts to protect people, assets, operations and brand reputation.

The role requires on-site work five days a week with strong project management, communication, and crisis-management skills, preferably with experience in large tech organizations.

Responsabilités

• Support specialty plan development (risk or contingent-specific).
• Assist in design, development, conduct, and evaluation of crisis management training and exercises in the region.
• Aid regional risk identification and evaluation activities.
• Assist on programmatic projects aimed at enhancing overall enterprise and cross-region crisis preparedness.
• Provide overall support during real-time response activities.
• Help manage crisis management chat groups and membership.
• Responsible for regional reporting, engagement tracking, scheduling, and other administrative activities.

Responsibilities

The Global Crisis Management function is part of the broader Physical Security department; and our mission is to mitigate the loss to our People, Assets, Operations, and Reputation from off-platform & physical-natured crises through highly-effective Crisis Management Teams (CMT). The aim is to ensure the safety and security of our employees, maintain the continuity of critical operations and minimise the impact on our brand reputation in the face of a physical security crisis. Our programme has global coverage across all company's corporate offices, products & services (excluding Data Centres), and focuses on the assessment, anticipation, preparedness, response, recovery and review of crisis situations.

• Assist the Regional Crisis Manager with enhancing crisis preparations and managing response in the region (Asia Pacific).
• Support specialty plan development (risk or contingent-specific).
• Assist in the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of crisis management training and exercising engagements in the region.
• Aid regional risk identification and evaluation activities.
• Assist on programmatic projects aimed at enhancing overall enterprise and cross-region crisis preparedness.
• Provide overall support during real-time response activities.
• Help manage crisis management chat groups and membership.
• Responsible for regional reporting, engagement tracking, scheduling, and other administrative activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Work experience in physical security and a basic understanding of the field.
• Strong project management, report writing, incident documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly, tailoring messages to a wide audience.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions during high-urgency situations.
• Skills in complex problem solving, rapid concept adoption, and adaptability in dynamic situations.
• Able to be fully on-site (5 days a week in office).

Preferred Qualification(s)

• 1+ year of experience in crisis management, emergency management or a relevant field.
• Experience developing and facilitating crisis management or business continuity training and exercises at a regional level.
• Working knowledge of crisis management frameworks and programme delivery within large organisations; experience in the technology industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in coordinating corporate functions within complex, multinational environments.
• Experience working across global and diverse business environments.
