Job summary

Clarins Group is seeking a Business Controller, Asia Pacific, to partner with APAC Ecommerce and Retail teams from Singapore. You will manage KPI reporting, regional inventories, and P&L analyses while aligning with Group guidelines.

The role supports DTC channels and intercompany finance in a dynamic, global beauty company. You will drive process improvements, coordinate with HQ Controlling, and help ensure accurate forecasting and reporting across APAC markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A or related experience in a sizeable organisation, preferably within the beauty, retail or FMCG industry and APAC region.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workday, HFM, IBM Cognos (BIA), M3 or Power BI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner to the APAC Ecommerce and Retail teams, supporting KPI tracking through the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of performance reports.
• Oversee regional Retail financial database, monitoring new boutique openings and renovation projects with robust business plans and ongoing performance follow-up.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly Retail and Ecommerce performance reports for APAC, providing insights into operational and financial results.
• Consolidate monthly APAC Ecommerce and Retail P&L statements, analyze variances against budget and reforecasts, and highlight key discrepancies and risks.
• Lead intercompany P&L ownership for the Singapore Hub, coordinating with Regional Supply Chain and ensuring alignment with group forecasts.
