Job summary

Cognition is an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents, including Devin, the first AI software engineer. As a deployed engineer in pre-sales, you will own technical engagement from deployment to activation, run pilots, and design compelling demos.

You will work closely with engineering to identify use cases, train customers, and enable thousands of engineers to adopt Devin. A strong technical background and a track record in technical sales are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field.
• Proven track record of successful enterprise deployments in GTM or forward deployed engineering roles.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to customers at all levels.
• Thrives in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments; moves quickly and scales scope.
• Demonstrates exceptional ability to learn new concepts and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle—from deployment through activation, ensuring customer success with Devin.
• Collaborate with customers to identify the best use cases for Devin and drive product integration.
• Build deep relationships with customers’ engineering teams to ensure adoption and high usage.
• Listen to customer feedback and advocate for features and improvements with the team.
• Help set the roadmap by exercising product instincts and delivering compelling technical demonstrations.
