Job summary

Lonza Singapore is offering a Career Conversion Program (CCP) role based at the Science Park Facility. The position focuses on developing cell culture processes for recombinant protein therapeutics with on‑the‑job training and a 15‑month duration.

You will work in a fully site‑based environment, collaborating in person to ensure high quality and safe manufacturing practices while gaining hands‑on experience in EHS, cGMP, data integrity, and laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant Science field or equivalent.
• Understanding of mammalian cell culture for production of biopharmaceuticals.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to EHS rules and regulations is required at all times.
• Document results in accordance with Lonza policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ensures compliance with Quality and GxP requirements by adhering to established quality systems and applicable regulatory standards in all activities.
• Upholds data integrity principles in accordance to Lonza policies. Proactively evaluates, identifies and improves data integrity process.
• General laboratory support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, etc.
• With support from Manager/Study Lead performs the following activities with high levels of RFT: Cell culture.
• Plans and prioritizes laboratory work with input from manager.
• Drafts laboratory records aligned with training plan.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and an interest in operational efficiency.
• Any other duties assigned

Job description

The Career Conversion Program (CCP) training period lasts for 15 months. Structured on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided and conducted at the participating companies to facilitate the application of learning and to ensure that individuals acquire necessary competencies to perform at their job.

This is a fully site‑based role at Science Park Facility. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:

Development Services encompasses three technical disciplines with associated support functions to develop processes to enable manufacture of recombinant protein therapeutics. This role will be available in the Cell Culture Development whom one is responsible for the development of cell culture process.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in a relevant Science field or equivalent
• Individual without prior working experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry may also apply
• Understanding of the application of mammalian cell culture for the production of biopharmaceuticals
