Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an Android developer to join the Global Payment Web and Client team. You will build modular components, optimize rendering performance, and advance mobile design and implementation for a seamless payment experience across ByteDance platforms.

The role requires a BS/MS in Computer Science, proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and the ability to debug large codebases. Collaboration with design, PM and engineering is essential to deliver high-quality, scalable features on tight

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases.
Good team communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.

Build modular, reusable components and features.
Focus on rendering performance in order to ensure superior experience for a heavy interaction platform.
Continuously work to bolster mobile design and implementation processes in order to improve quality and efficiency.
Code optimization to improve scalability, reliability, security and performance of mobile applications.
Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best in class user experience.
