Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Protect patient safety through science by ensuring medicines meet quality standards.
• Understand the full product lifecycle from raw materials to APIs.
• Develop expertise in GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
• Master analytical science techniques and method validation/transfer.
• Gain hands-on quality systems experience with deviations, CAPAs, change controls, data integrity, and documentation.
• Collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and R&D.

What will you do?

• Protect Patient Safety Through Science: Play a critical role in ensuring medicines meet the highest quality standards, helping deliver safe and effective treatments to patients worldwide.
• Understand the Full Product Lifecycle: Gain insight into how raw materials, intermediates, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) are tested and controlled throughout the manufacturing journey.
• Develop Expertise in Quality & Compliance: Build a strong foundation in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), regulatory requirements, and quality systems that are essential to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Master Analytical Science Techniques: Contribute to the development, optimisation, validation, and transfer of analytical methods used to support product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Gain Hands-On Quality Systems Experience: Work with deviations, investigations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions), change controls, data integrity, and quality documentation, developing skills highly valued across the industry.
• Solve Complex Scientific Challenges: Use data, scientific thinking, and risk-based decision making to investigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver meaningful improvements.
• Work with Advanced Laboratory Technologies: Explore cutting-edge analytical tools and testing methodologies while helping implement new technologies and ways of working.
