Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior analytical chemist to lead trouble-shooting investigations and advance API analysis methods, including development, validation, and transfer. You will design experiments, analyze data, and author reports to support project progress.

Responsibilities include resolving lab issues, training team members, and coordinating with other departments and clients while ensuring compliance with ICH, USP, EP and local standards.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's in Chemistry-related fields with several years of analytical experience.
• Proficient in independent operation and maintenance of analytical instruments (HPLC, GC-MS/LC-MS, IC, QTOF, QQQ, ICP, UPCC).
• Familiar with ICH, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, USP and EP regulatory requirements.
• Strong experimental design and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting and leadership skills.

Job description

Lead and coordinate the analytical trouble shooting investigation, and strong understanding the analytical method development / optimization, pre-validation, and transfer of API analysis.

Design experiments, analyze data, and write reports for projects.

Resolve technical issues in the laboratory and provide technical support.

Lead and train team members to enhance the overall research capabilities of the team.

Communicate and collaborate with other departments and clients to drive project progress.

Independently manage projects and oversee laboratory operations.

Keep up with the latest industry technologies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields, with at least 2 years (Ph.D.) or 6 years (Master's) of relevant work experience.(open to bachelor as well)
• Proficient in independently operating and maintaining HPLC, GCHS, LC/GC-MS, IC、QTOF、QQQ、ICP、UPCC and other analytical instrumentations.
• Proficient in analytical expertise and familiar with relevant regulations such as ICH, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, USP, EP, etc.
• Rich experience in experimental design and data analysis
• Excellent analytical trouble-shooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding laboratory operation skills.
• Excellent time/schedule management and communication skills.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in China and overseas.
