Job summary

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) in Singapore is seeking a forward-looking leader to power the energy transition by shaping manpower strategies, forecasting talent needs across power generation, transmission, and smart grids, and collaborating with industry and IHLs to build capabilities.

You will influence workforce planning policy, translate labour market insights into programmes, and drive initiatives that ensure a skilled, future-ready energy workforce for Singapore's sustainable future.

• Shape the Energy Workforce of Tomorrow: Oversee manpower projections, policies, and planning by leveraging data and insights to align with labour market trends and sectoral needs.
• Identify Emerging Needs: Pinpoint critical talent gaps and new competencies arising from emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector.
• Develop Industry Capabilities: Collaborate with industry players and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to design and implement strategies and programmes that address workforce capabilities and future skills.
• Impact Policy and Strategy: Influence energy workforce planning and policies to ensure alignment with the nation's energy goals and vision for a sustainable future.
