Job summary

Energy Connections Office in Singapore is seeking a proactive professional to join the Projects & Partnerships (PP) branch. You will negotiate with interested companies, evaluate proposals to meet energy security, competitiveness and sustainability, and facilitate the development and timely delivery of electricity imports projects.

You will also engage overseas government bodies to secure G2G support for cross-border electricity trading, work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, and travel

[What the role is]

The Energy Connections Office (ECO) is tasked to facilitate around 6GW of low-carbon electricity imports into Singapore by 2035, or about one-third of our energy demand then. You will join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team tasked to facilitate imports into Singapore and regional grid interconnections. Specifically, you will join the Projects & Partnerships (PP) branch in ECO.

[What you will be working on]

• Negotiating with interested companies on their proposals, and evaluating such proposals to meet our requirements for energy security, competitiveness and sustainability.
• Facilitating the development and ensuring the timely delivery of promising electricity imports projects.
• Engaging overseas government bodies to secure G2G support for cross-border electricity trading.
