Job summary

Maybank Asset Management in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Associate to provide day-to-day support across the Operations function, focusing on fund operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvements.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and company requirements, while assisting with trade processing, settlements, NAV oversight, and governance activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in operations, fund administration, asset management, banking, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of daily fund operational activities, including trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, cash management, corporate actions, pricing, and NAV oversight.
• Assist in monitoring operational risks, incident tracking, control testing, and risk mitigation measures.
• Prepare and maintain management reports, operational dashboards, regulatory submissions, and ad-hoc reporting for senior management.
• Support vendor, custodian, fund administrator, and service provider oversight activities.
• Assist with business administration matters, including documentation management, policy updates, audit requests, and operational record keeping.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives and projects.
• Participate in process improvement, automation, and operational resilience initiatives.

Job Description

and process improvement activities. The role will work closely with internal
stakeholders and external service providers to ensure operational efficiency,

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the execution of daily fund operational activities, including trade processing,

  requirements.


• Assist with new fund launches, account openings, client onboarding, and other
  operational projects when required.


• Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by the Head of Operations.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a
  related discipline.


• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in operations, fund administration, asset
  management, banking, financial services, or related fields.


• Fresh graduates and candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to

• Strong learning agility and the ability to quickly pick up new processes, systems,
  and concepts.


• Positive attitude with a willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
