Job summary

Ampstek seeks a System Analyst/Functional Analyst for AML projects on a 12+ month contract in Singapore. You will analyze functional requirements, create specifications, and design end-to-end user journeys aligned with security standards.

You’ll collaborate with BAs, Developers, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendors to deliver compliant, testable solutions. Experience with AML platforms, APIs, cloud environments, and SDLC is preferred; knowledge of threat modelling and BPMN tools will help

Qualifications

• Strong experience in functional requirement analysis and creation of functional specifications.
• Ability to design end-to-end functional flows and user journeys.
• Hands-on experience in technical design aligned with architectural and security standards.
• Knowledge of AML domain, financial crime workflows, or compliance systems.
• Experience collaborating across Business Analysts, Developers, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendors.
• Familiarity with SDLC, integration patterns, and application architecture.
• Ability to support testing activities, including defect clarification and scope assessment.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
