RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Compliance Analyst (AML) based in Singapore. The role involves reviewing customer profiles and transaction activity to identify AML risks and potential sanctions, assessing high‑risk cases, and recommending controls and risk mitigation measures.

You will perform CDD and EDD reviews, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and support regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives including automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Review customer profiles and transaction activity to identify potential AML, sanctions and terrorism financing risks.
• Assess higher-risk cases and highlight key concerns requiring further review or escalation.
• Recommend appropriate controls and risk mitigation measures, and support their implementation.
• Investigate escalated screening and transaction monitoring alerts, including urgent cases raised by Compliance or relevant authorities.
• Review internal suspicious transaction cases and determine whether further escalation for regulatory reporting is required.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to obtain required information and supporting documentation.
• Support the termination and closure of customer relationships where necessary.
• Maintain accurate case tracking, MIS updates and compliance reporting.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on AML-related matters when required.
• Participate in risk and compliance initiatives, including process improvements, automation, RPA and AI/RegTech projects.
