Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a hands-on AMHS Engineer to own uptime, reliability and continuous improvement of the Automated Material Handling System in a 24/7 semiconductor fab.

You will monitor system performance, perform RCA using 8D/5 whys, coordinate with OHT, AMR, stockers and EFEM suppliers, ensure SEMI SECS/GEM compliance, and drive corrective actions to minimize downtime while collaborating with fab operations and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying AMHS in semiconductor fabs.
• Ability to monitor OHT traffic and stocker utilization.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Own AMHS uptime post-installation and target >99.9% reliability.
• Monitor process metrics and perform RCA for wafer delays or contamination.
• Coordinate with OHT, AMR, stockers, and EFEM suppliers for seamless integration.
• Provide training on AMHS recovery procedures and best practices.
