Job summary

The role involves sourcing sub-contractors, performing quantity take-offs, evaluating quotations, and preparing subcontract documentation and cost reports for tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Source sub-contractors and vendors for quotation during tendering.
• Carry out quantities take-off during tendering.
• Evaluate quotations and costing summaries for approval prior to tender submission.
• Prepare subcontract documents incorporating all contract and technical requirements.
• Prepare procurement and subcontract schedules.
• Assist Contract Manager/Deputy/PM in negotiation and award of sub-contracts.
• Ensure submission of bonds/warranties from sub-contractors.
• Prepare payment claims and substantiation for variations orders and valuations.
• Prepare monthly payment certificates and check invoices against delivery orders.
• Maintain records for Architect Instructions and Variations orders on a monthly basis.
• Update and file material price lists.
• Prepare project cost summaries and maintain project contact lists.
• Perform quantity take-off for pre- and post-contract stages.
• Procurement for the assigned project.
