Job summary

PURVIEW ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a data analyst to collaborate with APAC stakeholders on regulatory reporting, data automation, and quality. The role relies on Alteryx Designer for complex preparation and on Excel/VBA for reporting processes.

You'll profile data, map transformations, reconcile datasets, and ensure data integrity across databases, CSVs, and flat files, with strong SQL skills to extract and validate data against regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Data Analyst or Alteryx Developer/Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and complex data workflows.
• Expertise in data profiling, mapping, transformation, reconciliation and quality analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and macros/VBA.
• Ability to understand and reverse-engineer Excel-based reporting processes.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, profiling, analysis and validation.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured datasets from databases, Excel, CSV and flat files.
• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical logic.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across APAC to understand reporting requirements, rules, calculations, and submission processes.
• Document As-Is reporting processes, including Excel spreadsheets, VBA/macros, manual adjustments, data transformations, reconciliations and dependencies.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into detailed functional and data requirements for automation.
• Identify common and country-specific reporting requirements across APAC markets.
• Perform detailed data profiling across source systems, databases, files and reporting datasets.
• Analyze data structures, formats, completeness, quality, consistency, duplicates and anomalies.
• Identify data gaps and work with business and technology teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Validate source data against existing regulatory reports and business expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Engage with business and regulatory reporting stakeholders across APAC regions to understand reporting requirements, business rules, calculations, validations and submission processes.

Document existing As-Is reporting processes, including Excel spreadsheets, VBA/macros, manual adjustments, data transformations, reconciliations and dependencies.

Translate regulatory and business requirements into detailed functional and data requirements for automation.

Identify common and country-specific reporting requirements across APAC markets.

Perform detailed data profiling across source systems, databases, files and reporting datasets.

Analyze data structures, formats, completeness, quality, consistency, duplicates and anomalies.

Skills and Requirements

Strong experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Alteryx Developer/Analyst.

Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and development of complex data preparation and automation workflows.
