Job summary

NEXadept in Singapore is seeking an accomplished Algorithm Engineer to spearhead core matching and marketing algorithm architectures. You will design and iterate engines that influence transaction efficiency, marketing performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities include developing core algorithms, modeling end-to-end R&D modules, and applying data-driven strategies to identify improvements and drive their implementation in a fast-paced, market-leading platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years in Recommendation Systems, Search, or Advertising.
• Deep understanding of ML concepts with practical experience in causal inference, forecasting, and related areas.
• Solid coding foundations and experience with ML/DL frameworks.
• High data sensitivity and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Cross-team collaboration and a business- and product-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Core Algorithm Development: design, build, and iterate core matching and marketing algorithms.
• Business & User Impact: leverage algorithms to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• End-to-End Model Engineering: manage R&D modules across data pipelines, feature engineering, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Data-Driven Strategy: identify bottlenecks and propose actionable improvements with implementation plans.
• Technical Innovation: collaborate with senior leaders to drive algorithmic improvements and practical innovations.
