Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical construction experience to oversee on-site activities in Singapore.

The role requires coordinating with the OIC, Project Director, client and contractors to monitor progress and manage variations. The candidate should have a degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess good communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical construction.
• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced projects.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report progress to the OIC, Project Director, Client and contractors.
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
• Attend QAQC meetings and audit the quality of works.
• Verify reports and claims for mechanical, electrical, geotechnical and other works.
• Coordinate works with main contractors and on-site teams.
• Liaise with authorities for approvals to commence works.
• Prepare minutes of meetings and presentation materials.
• Undertake admin tasks as instructed.
