Job summary

Changi Airport Group is seeking a dedicated Airport Emergency Officer for the Feb 2027 intake. The role involves training through BAFF and ICAO-aligned programmes, followed by deployment to airport fire stations to provide frontline firefighting and rescue capabilities.

Responsibilities include responding to aircraft incidents, operating firefighting vehicles, and collaborating with external agencies during emergencies. A strong emphasis on fitness, discipline, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• At least NITEC, GCE ‘O’ Level, or GCE ‘N’ Level.
• Strong interest in rescue or emergency response work.
• Able to stay calm and think clearly under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-disciplined, reliable and a strong team player.
• Physically and medically fit for emergency duties, with good eyesight and colour discrimination.
• Willing to perform shift duties, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to aircraft incidents, aerodrome fires, and emergency situations.
• Operate rescue and fire fighting vehicles, vessels and specialised fire fighting equipment.
• Participate in drills, physical training, and skills development to maintain operational readiness.
• Conduct routine checks on fire fighting vehicles, tools and station facilities.
• Assist in documenting incidents and providing information for post incident reviews.
• Work with airport teams and external emergency agencies during emergency responses and joint exercises.
