Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to perform detailed inspection of engine parts and components, and to interpret service bulletins and work instructions. This onsite role requires accuracy, integrity, and adherence to quality procedures within a manufacturing environment.

You will use bore gauges, CMM, borescope tools and SAP/MS Office for documentation, work in weekly rotating shifts, and contribute to EH&S and continuous improvement initiatives while

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Precision /Aerospace/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Able to work on weekly rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspection of engine parts and components per manuals and technical work publications.
• Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, computer measuring machine and borescope equipment.
• Perform engine level inspection per manuals and technical work publications.
• Interpret technical work instructions such as Service Bulletins or equivalent work instructions.
• Perform daily work tasks per Quality work procedures and guidelines.
• Support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Workshop Engineer/Manager.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Able to work on weekly rotating shifts.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Candidates with Diploma will be advantageous
• 2 years of relevant working experience as detailed inspector / visual and dimensional inspection within the aviation industry.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
