Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical engineering or suitable equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service a wide range of air conditioning systems at client sites.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to carry out installations, system commissioning, testing, and performance verification.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective servicing to ensure air conditioning systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Conduct routine servicing, including filter cleaning, chemical cleaning, and equipment overhauls.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults, identifying root causes to minimise system downtime.
• Install, replace, and repair faulty components such as compressors, fan coil motors, and other air conditioning equipment.
• Respond promptly to service calls, breakdowns, emergency repairs, and maintenance requests.
• Prepare accurate service reports and maintain detailed records of all installation, maintenance, and repair work, obtaining client acknowledgement upon completion.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations, company service standards, work procedures, and client requirements to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Carry out any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

As a Aircon Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to carry out installations, system commissioning, testing, and performance verification.
