Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage airfreight import operations from shipment arrival through customs clearance, final delivery, billing and closure.
• Handle customer enquiries, provide shipment status updates and ensure service requirements are met.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, transport providers, customs authorities and internal teams on shipment arrangements.
• Check import documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Track shipment progress, monitor KPIs and resolve operational discrepancies promptly.
• Manage shipment delays, clearance issues and delivery exceptions, escalating matters when necessary.
• Maintain complete shipment records, reports and billing documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline import processes and enhance customer experience.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and support daily operational activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
