Job summary

YCH GLOBAL LOGISTICS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a logistics operations professional to manage permits, documents for LC negotiations, and shipment tracking. You will coordinate cargo surveys, ensure timely bookings, and liaise with forwarders and carriers to maintain delivery schedules.

The role requires coordinating with multiple internal teams, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and delivering billing-ready shipments through our TRMS system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit permitDeclarations to Government agencies for shipment and ensure AWBs and permit declarations are processed accurately and promptly.
• Check and ensure accuracy of documents for bank negotiation of Letters of Credit, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Monitor closely for short landings or offloading of cargoes and report to superior immediately.
• Follow through, monitor and track shipment arrival and delivery.
• Coordinate for any survey of alleged damages to cargoes in the airport or customs.
• Attend to operations to ensure cargo is delivered safely and promptly to designated locations.
• Liaise and follow up with internal teams and forwarders/carriers for shipment/delivery status with Singapore Chamber & Commerce.
• Prepare billing advices for completed shipments.
• Facilitate in-house TRMS system for shipment processing.
• Ensure all shipments are processed and closed promptly through TRMS to enable billing by Finance.
• Ensure all KPIs are met in accordance with customer expectations.
• Secure enough space from airlines and ensure bookings are done promptly, including block bookings for regular customers.
• Effectively manage staff resources under charge in the airport warehouse, including discipline and duty execution.
• Perform any other job-related duties as instructed by superior.
