Job summary

ASM is seeking an AIoT & Intelligent Automation Solutions Engineer to lead the design and delivery of AI-enabled automation solutions across OT and IT environments in Singapore. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, cybersecurity, and vendors to deploy scalable pilots and transition to full-scale operations.

The role requires 4+ years in intelligent automation, AIoT, or computer vision, and strong knowledge of OT/IT architecture segregation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in intelligent automation, AIoT, computer vision, or smart manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OT/IT architecture segregation and cybersecurity constraints.
• Experience managing automation projects from concept to scale-up.
• Proven ability to collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and IT/OT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AIoT, computer vision, and intelligent automation solutions for manufacturing and operations.
• Integrate sensors, machine data, edge systems, vision systems, AI models, control environments, and enterprise applications while respecting OT/IT segregation.
• Lead pilot execution for use cases like machine monitoring, asset intelligence, assisted inspection, anomaly detection, and semi-autonomous workflows.
• Evaluate humanoid-enabled automation opportunities for repetitive, hazardous, or ergonomically challenging tasks.
• Apply project and product management practices to define requirements, roadmap, MVP scope, success metrics, deployment plan, and adoption approach.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, OT, IT, cybersecurity, and vendors on deployment architecture and sustainment needs.
• Establish performance measures and support transition from pilot to scaled operations with clear ownership and training.
