Job summary

IMDA is seeking a Manager to lead Research, Innovation and Enterprise efforts in AI and Trust Technologies, coordinating cross-domain research and international partnerships. You will translate research into business opportunities, represent IMDA in global forums, and work with local and overseas partners to shape Singapore's digital future.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to drive collaborations with IHLs, RIs, and international organisations.

Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in managing technology teams in research and/or engineering.
Familiarity with the RIE ecosystem.
Strategic thinker with collaborative attitude and a strong team player.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills to work with both local and overseas partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop research to business strategies in AI and Trust Technologies and cross-domain research aligned to national strategic interests.
Strategise to create impactful collaborations with IHLs and RIs in AI and Trust Technologies and cross-domain research.
Represent Singapore and/or IMDA in relevant research and technology forums and standards setting committees.
Lead efforts in translate research findings into viable business opportunities.
Drive international collaborations.
Support senior leadership in monitoring global shifts and making timely recommendations to drive policy and capture value.
