Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in network engineering, network planning, or related field (internships and academic projects considered).
• Foundational understanding of network design principles, including capacity planning and dimensioning.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and how they can be applied to network planning or forecasting.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Pandas).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and planning of network infrastructure, including capacity planning, dimensioning, and technology evaluation.
• Assist in the implementation and rollout of network solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are deployed as planned.
• Perform traffic forecasting and demand modelling to inform network planning decisions.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of network planning and design.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to support AI-driven forecasting and network analytics.
• Conduct data analysis to identify network performance trends and planning opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation, planning reports, and design proposals.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of network designs during implementation.

About the Role:

Experience or exposure to the telecommunications industry is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and planning of network infrastructure, including capacity planning, dimensioning, and technology evaluation
• Assist in the implementation and rollout of network solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are deployed as planned
• Perform traffic forecasting and demand modelling to inform network planning decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to or interest in the telecommunications industry, including network implementation and rollout
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) applied to network forecasting or optimization
• Familiarity with network planning and simulation tools
• Understanding of network technologies such as IP, optical transport, or DWDM
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data analytics or model deployment
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
