Job summary

AI Chopping Block is seeking a Technical Product Manager, AI Systems, to work at the intersection of user needs, model capability, and engineering constraints. You will collaborate with ML and engineering teams to define how the system should behave, how we measure it, and how we continuously improve it.

This is a deeply technical, hands-on role where you understand the system, read designs, and challenge technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and system design knowledge.
• Solid understanding of modern ML and AI in production.
• Ability to read technical designs and engage with engineers.
• Judgment to balance model capabilities with product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end requirements for AI capabilities and user experience.
• Translate model capabilities and constraints into product decisions.
• Balance quality, latency, cost, reliability, safety, and UX.
• Collaborate with ML, backend, and client engineers on design and iteration.
• Define evaluation frameworks and establish quality bars.
