E-Cruit Team Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an AI Software Engineer to accelerate AI adoption within our software development team. You will identify opportunities to automate coding tasks, boost developer productivity with AI tools, and modernise workflows while supporting enterprise apps built on Microsoft technologies.

This role blends software engineering with AI automation to deliver practical business solutions and improve coding efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience supporting legacy VB.NET/VB6 is an advantage.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, ChatGPT).
• Familiar with REST APIs, software architecture, and system design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement AI-powered software development tools to improve coding efficiency and code quality.
• Integrate AI-assisted coding solutions into existing development workflows.
• Develop, maintain and enhance enterprise applications built using Microsoft technologies.
• Support and modernise legacy applications, including VB6 and ASP.NET systems.
• Design, develop, test and deploy software enhancements.
• Analyse business requirements and recommend AI-driven automation solutions.
• Develop internal tools to automate repetitive development tasks.
• Create technical documentation and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with software developers and stakeholders on system enhancements.
• Research emerging AI technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Employment Details

• Employment Type: 2-year renewable contract

• Salary: Up to S$7,000 per month

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm

• Location: Pasir Ris
