Job summary

GovTech is hiring a Product Manager to shape AI safety across government. You will own end-to-end product areas focused on evaluation, runtime safeguards, assurance reporting, and online safety, translating policy direction into concrete features and requirements.

You will work with engineers, policy teams, and capability developers to embed safeguards, monitor model drift, and manage risk, while collaborating with a government-wide Community of Practice to share insights and benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Product management experience delivering user-centric features.
• Interest in AI risk, evaluation, safeguards, or online safety.
• Ability to translate policy into concrete product requirements.
• Comfort working with engineers, policy teams, and diverse stakeholders.
• Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to learn quickly and go deep on AI risk topics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product areas for AI risk and safety across government services.
• Define requirements, evaluation criteria, and platform features from policy direction.
• Collaborate with engineers and policy teams to deliver safeguards and detection capabilities.
• Contribute to playbooks, guidance materials, and risk reporting.
• Share benchmarking insights and lessons with a Community of Practice across government.
