NTU in Singapore hosts an AI Safety & Governance Engineer role within the AI Singapore (AISG) SAGE function. The engineer will run automated LLM safety tests, perform red teaming, review agentic, multimodal and RAG architectures for vulnerabilities, and mentor AIAP apprentices.
They will document vulnerabilities with severity and remediation guidance, support AI safety standards, and share knowledge through talks and workshops as part of Singapore's national AI safety efforts.

The AI Safety and Governance Engineering (SAGE) function ensures LLM/GenAI systems deployed through AI Singapore's 100 Experiments (100E) programme are safe, secure, and compliant before delivery to project sponsors. We are seeking an AI Safety & Governance Engineer to join the SAGE team. In this role, you will execute safety testing, conduct red teaming exercises, review system architectures for vulnerabilities, and support governance practices. You will also mentor AIAP apprentices on responsible AI practices. The incumbent will work across diverse industry projects while contributing to Singapore's AI safety standards and practices.
