Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Python and data processing libraries.
• Knowledge of ML, statistics and experimental evaluation.
• Hands-on research or software development experience.
• Strong written and oral communication to document methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with large language models or AI agents is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI research agents and workflows for data analysis, empirical research and automated experimentation.
• Collect, clean and document research datasets and benchmark tasks, with quality checks and data governance.
• Implement and evaluate machine learning and language models for research applications in finance and the social sciences.
• Reproduce empirical analyses and assess generated code, outputs and findings against evaluation criteria.
• Run computational experiments, troubleshoot software, and maintain reproducible code and environments.
• Analyse results and prepare research reports, visualisations and materials for publications.
• Collaborate with faculty and research partners on benchmarks and dissemination.
