Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data processing and machine learning libraries.
• Knowledge of machine learning, statistical analysis and experimental evaluation.
• Hands-on research or software development experience from academic projects or internships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI research agents and workflows for data analysis, empirical research and automated experimentation.
• Collect, clean and document research datasets and benchmark tasks with quality checks and data governance.
• Implement and evaluate machine learning and language models for research applications in finance and the social sciences.
• Reproduce empirical analyses and assess generated code, statistical outputs and research findings against evaluation criteria.
• Run computational experiments, troubleshoot research software, and maintain reproducible code, environments and experiment records.
• Analyse experimental results and prepare research reports, visualisations, documentation and materials for publications and presentations.
• Collaborate with faculty and research partners on benchmark development, research activities and dissemination of findings.
