Job summary

SAP Labs Singapore is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead development of platform infrastructure, defining best practices and mentoring peers. You will ensure high availability, security, and efficiency across systems, collaborating with AI scientists, data engineers, DevOps, and architects to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Applicants with 7–11 years of software development experience and strong Java/Go/Python skills, REST APIs, and cloud-native tooling are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 7 to 11 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in AI-focused cloud/container application development.
• Solid CS foundation with strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, and multi-threaded programming.
• Strong coding and debugging skills in Java, Go, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of platform infrastructure and define best practices.
• Mentor peers and ensure high availability, security, and efficiency across systems.
• Deliver AI platform solutions on time in collaboration with AI scientists, data engineers, DevOps, and architects.
• Build scalable data processing pipelines and high-performance platforms for large data volumes.
• Perform QA tasks and resolve complex integration issues.
