Job summary

A startup specializing in generative AI is seeking an AI/ML Engineer Intern to assist in developing innovative computer vision models for architectural applications in Singapore. The role offers hands-on experience in training deep learning models and engaging in R&D for next-generation structural AI. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably from top-tier universities.
• Experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine learning through courses or internships.
• Familiar with classic CV algorithms and frameworks, especially OpenCV.
• Experience building/training/evaluating DL CV models (CNN, U-Net, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, ViT).
• Knowledge of OCR and text recognition methods is a plus.
• Proficient in Python and at least one ML/CV framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV).
• Experience with Jupyter Notebook, Git, NumPy, Pandas, and Shapely.
• Familiarity with CAD formats (DWG, DXF) or computational geometry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing computer vision models for detecting elements in architectural drawings.
• Train and evaluate deep learning models under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Document processes and collaborate with the team to integrate models.
• Support the data preparation pipeline, including DWG preprocessing, rasterization, augmentation, and dataset annotation.
• Document experimental processes, benchmark results, and share insights with the team.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate models into our Structural AI Agent.

Education & Background:
