Job summary

PwC is seeking a Director in Singapore’s Digital Tax team to lead data-driven initiatives across analytics, modelling and product development. You will partner with stakeholders to turn data into insights, build prototypes, and deploy predictive models while guiding client engagements and GTM efforts.

The role requires 12+ years in quantitative fields, deep Python and ML expertise, cloud experience, and a track record in professional services or finance environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Applied Statistics, Mathematics) with at least 12 years of experience.
• Master's or PhD preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proficient with ML libraries and LLMs.
• Experience in data mining, algorithms, optimisations.
• Background in finance or professional services is a plus.
• Experience with unit/integration testing.
• Experience with cloud environments and modern web tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to extract value from data via analytics and visualisation.
• Develop prototypes to solve business problems and bring them to live.
• Build predictive modelling, statistics, data mining, and other data analysis techniques.
• Mine data sources to develop new product offerings and drive strategy.
• Develop and utilise predictive/LLM models to inform business outcomes and risk mitigation.
• Manage end-to-end projects from requirements to deliverables.
• Lead Go-to-Market strategies and client engagements.
• Stay updated on AI trends and industry developments.
