Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore seeks an Engineer (Enabling Technology Collaboratory) within the School of Engineering to develop full-stack applications and integrate them with databases, cloud platforms, APIs and AI services.

You will design AI-enabled solutions using AI/ML, LLMs, RAG and autonomous workflows, and work with devices, sensors and simulations. The role includes supervising student projects and engaging with industry partners.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant industry or software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in one or more listed languages.
• Experience in full-stack web apps and AI/Gen AI development.
• Experience with cloud deployment and integration.
• Ability to design maintainable, well-documented code.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack applications and integrate with databases, cloud platforms, APIs and AI services.
• Design and deploy AI-enabled and agentic AI solutions using AI/ML, LLMs, RAG and autonomous workflows.
• Integrate applications with devices, sensors, simulation systems and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Contribute to applied research, consultancy projects and proposals.
• Conduct PET and CET lessons, specialised courses, workshops and demonstrations.
• Supervise student projects and internships.
• Support project delivery, outreach activities and engagement with industry partners.
