Job summary

Fireworks AI, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to embed with customers, build production-grade AI deployments, and drive end-to-end delivery of POCs, MVPs, and production integrations.

You will operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer outcomes, translating complex needs into scalable implementations. You will ship code, run benchmarks, and participate in executive‑level conversations about architecture and strategy, while staying hands‑on with customer teams across GenAI

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands‑on, customer‑facing technical role.
• Ship production software with customers in real environments.
• Strong Python skills with production-grade code.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with customer engineering teams.
• Architect inference foundations and scale deployments.
• Run load tests and establish latency, throughput, and cost baselines.
• Deploy and validate new model families on inference frameworks.
• Lead structured discovery conversations to uncover pain points and solutions.
• Spend time on-site with customers to build trust and momentum.
