Job summary

1 HERO SOCIAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a ForwardDeployed Engineer intern to bridge our AI and customers in Singapore. You will onboard studios, connect CRM and messaging channels, and tailor AI agents to their brand voice for better lead conversion and retention.

You will build and maintain knowledge bases, design prompts and flows, test conversations, and craft templates that follow local policies. This role blends customer-facing work with hands-on AI deployment for real business impact.

Qualifications

• Currently studying, or recently graduated in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IS, Engineering or Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs through projects or coursework.
• Basic Python or JavaScript and comfort with APIs/JSON.
• Strong spoken and written English and confidence talking to business owners.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new studios by connecting their CRM and messaging channels to the platform.
• Build each studio's knowledge base with classes, pricing and FAQs.
• Design and tune AI agents with prompts and flows for leads and conversions.
• Test conversations, catch wrong answers and improve replies.
• Write WhatsApp templates and outreach sequences compliant with policies.
• Measure revenue impact: track bookings, trials and re-engagement.
• Roll out new channels as the platform scales omnichannel.
• Provide insights back to product and write deployment playbooks.

1herosocial.ai is an AI platform that helps multi-location fitness studios grow revenue. Itreplies to leads and members on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook in under 5seconds, and manages lead pipelines and billing from one dashboard. We integrate with leading studio CRMs and management systems, so studios convert more enquiries and keep members coming back. We're now scaling into an AI marketing omni channel platform that reaches customers on every channel they use, from one place.

We're as mall, fast-moving Singapore startup, and our interns ship real AI to real customers from week one.

The role

As a ForwardDeployed Engineer intern, you'll be the link between our AI and our customers.You'll work directly with gym and studio owners to learn how they operate. Then you'll set up, customise and launch AI agents that solve their problems, and keep those agents performing after go-live. Your work shows up directly in studio revenue: more leads booked, more trials converted and fewer members lost.

This is hands-on, customer-facing work, not a research role or a desk-only coding job.

What you'll do

• Onboard new studios: connect their studio CRM, WhatsApp Business and social channels to1herosocial.ai.
• Build each studio's knowledge base: classes, pricing, policies and FAQs, so the AI replies accurately and in the studio's brand voice.
• Design and tune AI agents: write prompts and RAG flows for lead follow-up, trial-to-member conversion and win-back of inactive members.
• Test and review conversations: catch wrong answers, find edge cases and keep improving reply quality.
• Write WhatsApp templates and outreach sequences that follow Meta's policies and Singapore'sPDPA.
• Measure revenue impact: track response time, booking rate, trial conversion and members re-engaged, and show customers the results.
• Help roll out new channels as we scale into an omni channel AI marketing platform, running campaigns that work together across messaging, social and more.
• Feed customer insights back to the product team to shape new features.
• Write playbooks and documentation so every deployment is faster than the last.

What we're looking for

Must have

• Currently studying, or recently graduated in,Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics or arelated field
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude,Gemini or similar) through projects, hackathons or coursework
• Basic Python or JavaScript, and comfort working with APIs and JSON
• Clear spoken and written English, andconfidence talking to business owners
• A problem-solving, 'figure it out'attitude

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, vector databases, oragent tools such as LangChain or n8n
• Familiarity with the WhatsApp Business API,Meta APIs, Stripe or webhooks
• Interest in digital marketing, marketingautomation, fitness or customer-facing startups
• Mandarin, Malay or Tamil, to support localcustomers
