Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions powered by LLMs and modern AI technologies. This hands-on role combines Generative AI, cloud-native development, and software engineering within a collaborative global environment.

You will build AI agents, backend APIs, and scalable microservices, leveraging AWS and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience developing AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience building AI agents, chatbots, or conversational AI solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Experience developing APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies.
• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and global teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Build intelligent AI agents and conversational systems with context-aware, multi-turn dialogue capabilities.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services to integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant microservices using modern software engineering practices.
• Develop AI and data processing workflows using Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Build and deploy cloud-native AI solutions leveraging AWS and related cloud technologies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation following DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Analyse technical requirements, identify opportunities for optimisation, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
