Job summary

OCBC Group, Singapore's longest established bank, offers an Avatar Banking AI Engineering Intern role. You will work hands-on with the LLM-based AI Wealth Navigator, helping build, test and govern AI features used by customers in production.

You will gain practical experience coding in Python, evaluating AI outputs, and collaborating with engineers, product, compliance and risk teams to ensure accuracy, safety and regulatory compliance in a leading financial institution.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/IS/DS/SE or related field.
• Familiar with Python programming.
• Understands LLMs via coursework/projects.
• Basic SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the end-to-end delivery of AI agent capabilities for the AI Wealth Navigator.
• Develop and enhance LLM agent features in Python (tool use, RAG, multi-step reasoning).
• Design and run AI evaluations and regression tests for accuracy and grounding.
• Build controls to ground AI outputs to source data and ensure traceability.
• Support CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Bitbucket for secure deployments.
